What Mingle collects
Your email address and display name, used to create and manage your account. Aggregate learning metrics — session history, streak, tier progress, and response patterns — used to power your personalized experience.
How your data is stored
Your account information and learning metrics are stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud). Your active learning state is also cached locally on your device for fast, offline access during practice sessions. Firebase is the only cloud service we use.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your location, age, or any personal identifiers beyond your email and display name. We do not record, store, or process voice or audio. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing. We do not sell your data to anyone, for any reason. We do not train AI models on your data.
Third-party services
Mingle uses Firebase by Google for authentication and data storage. Your email and learning metrics are processed by Firebase under Google's privacy policy (firebase.google.com/support/privacy). No other third-party services receive your data.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data from Firebase and clears your local device cache. Nothing is retained.
Children's privacy
Mingle is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you through the in-app notification system. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
